City Candidates
2024 candidate filing for local offices up for election:
May 21 - June 4, 2024 ending at 5:00 p.m.
Candidates for local offices, including the RPS School Board, will be posted below at the end of each day of the filing period.
Candidates for the above offices need to file with the City Clerk's Office, either in-person, by mail, or electronically. More information about filing is available on the Running for Office section of this website.
At the time of filing, candidates must submit:
- Affidavit of Candidacy
- Candidate Name Pronunciation Guide
- Ethics Disclosure Form(City Council candidates only)
- Filing fee or petition in lieu of fee
- City Council positions = $50.00
- School Board Member positions = $2.00
