Notice of “NO PARKING” for the Overnight Hours in the Downtown Area for Snow Removal
City crews will be removing snow on Sunday night into Monday morning from the downtown area streets. The following streets will be posted by 1/20/19 at 11:00am for scheduled snow plowing between the hours of 12 AM and 8 AM on Monday, January 21, 2019.

Individuals and Organizations to be recognized for Environmental Achievements in the Community
Rochester Public Utilities (RPU) and the Olmsted County Environmental Commission announce the recipients of the 2018 Environmental Achievement Awards. The recipients will be recognized at an awards banquet tonight, January 17, at the Rochester Golf and Country Club.

RFD to Hold Christmas Eve Ceremony of Remembrance

Local Public Safety Organizations Come Together for Community Giving Event
On December 12, 2018 the Rochester Fire Department, Rochester Police Department, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, and Gold Cross will provide 300 hams to community members in need. The gathering will take place from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Army National Guard Armory Parking Lot (1715 Marion Road SE).

Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission Recommends Legislature Fund $1.1 Million to Develop Portion of Gamehaven Regional Park
The Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission has announced that they will recommend that the Legislature provide approximately $1.1 Million in funds from the Legacy Funding to help develop the west portion of the Gamehaven Regional Park.

The City of Rochester’s Public Works Department operates a fleet of snow plows that works to clear over 500 miles of roads, 9 miles of alleys, 544 cul-de-sacs, 40 miles of sidewalks and bike paths within the city limits of Rochester.
