2023 - 2024 Season

The Parks & Recreation Department maintains outdoor hockey and public skating rinks and warming sheds throughout the City.

Warming Houses

Warming Houses are scheduled to open January 6, 2024 depending on weather and how soon ice can be built up on the rinks. Maintenance of the outdoor rinks will conclude in late February/early March 2024 depending on weather.

We plan to offer skate rentals on Saturdays & Sundays from 12-4 PM at the Soldiers Field Rink East Warming House starting on Jan. 6 and each following weekend until the end of February (weather permitting).
