The City of Rochester currently operates two public dog parks.

River Road Park

Jean & Carl Frank Canine Park

Rules for off-leash dog area

For the protection and enjoyment of all park users, please observe these rules:

Pick up after your dog. Owner must possess a cleanup device at all times.
Dogs must arrive and leave on a leash.
Dogs must be properly licensed and vaccinated.
Owners must be in verbal control and within sight of their dogs at all times.
Owners are liable for damage or injury inflicted by their dogs.
Dogs in heat are not allowed.
Owners must prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting and loud excessive barking.
