Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial to See Added Trees as a Part of a National Campaign
Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial Committee (SFVMC) will work with partners to improve the tree scape at Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial (SFVM). Work will begin on September 18, 2019 to replace the existing monoculture of maple trees with five different species of trees.

2020 Census Work Set to Begin with Address Canvassing

Rochester Police Department Transitions from North Service Center to Law Enforcement Center as Renovation Begins
In anticipation of phase one of interior renovation work at the North Service Center, the Rochester Police Department has transitioned operations away from the North Station, to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC), which is located at 101 4th St. SE, effective July 25, 2019.

Local and State Law Enforcement Agencies to Share Important Hands-Free Messages at Upcoming Safe City Nights Event
The Rochester Police Department (RPD) will hold their fifth Safe City Nights event from 6-8 p.m. on July 30 at Watson Field. In addition to the free meal and activities, a special program will take place to share information about the hands-free law, which will go into effect on August 1, 2019.
