The Rochester Concert Band is a volunteer ensemble that is open by competitive audition only. The ensemble has become a Rochester institution that can trace its history back to the early 1870s. The band has been a part of the Down by the Riverside concert series since its inception in 1991.

The Rochester Concert Choir is a community ensemble that is open to the general public and can trace its history back to the Summer Festival Choir formed in 1998.

The Rochester Concert Choir is currently seeking singers! This all-volunteer group does not require an audition. The choir's mission is to preserve, advance and foster in the community an appreciation of the art of choral singing.  The ensemble will perform in two concerts this year, one in August and a holiday concert in December. Rehearsals begin in June. If you have questions or would like a schedule, please contact Deana Carr at 507.328.2209 or deana@riversideconcerts.com.
