October 7, 2024 – ROCHESTER, MINN. – The City of Rochester Transit & Parking Department is seeking feedback from residents on the North Broadway Park & Ride Project, which will be built in the northeast corner of the Rochester Recreation Center property located off Elton Hills Drive NW. Attendees can learn more about the project and share their feedback on design concepts and traffic implications.

Tuesday, October 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Rochester Recreation Center (21 Elton Hills Drive NW)
This event has an open-house format with no set presentation.
Enter through the main doors (Door #1) and follow signs to the lower gymnasium

The City of Rochester plans to construct a parking facility that will function as a park-and-ride for regional commuters as well as provide evening and weekend parking for activities at the Rochester Recreation Center and 125 Live, the active living center.

The planned park and ride facility will include:

  • 200 parking spaces
  • Transit stops for two buses
  • Sheltered area for passengers
  • Restrooms for bus drivers
