The free, Wednesday evening forWARD Park Concerts are live music events showcasing local bands and regional emerging headliners. Concerts are held in six different walkable, pet friendly, and bike trail connected parks, one in each city ward.

Local food trucks, craft beer, and family-friendly fun with the Rochester Public Library's Bookmobile and Rochester Park & Rec’s Go! Play! Explore! Mobile Rec Trailer, round out these must-attend community events.

About the Artists

5:30 PM Opener - Jeremy Jewell & the Co-Dependents
 
Jeremy Jewell is a happy guy who likes to sing sad songs. Pretty guitar chords, a weathered yet charming voice and honest lyrics are what you’ll see at one of his shows. He is a well-known and reputable artists throughout Southeastern Minnesota. He was born and raised in Rochester, MN and has loved music every since he can remember. His first gig was at his 7th grade graduation where his passion for performing was ignited.


6:30 PM Headliner - BARBARO

Barbaro’s music is at once lively and intimate, perfect for twirling around the dance floor or cooking with someone you love. The Minneapolis based rising stars have created their eclectic sound through original songwriting craft, with inspiration derived from bluegrass, jazz and chamber music.

Barbaro’s musical vision explores their collective life experiences through intricate instrumentation, creatively bending traditional music into a style that is all their own. Their album, Dressed in Roses, released January 2020, “Stands as a true testament to their musical identity and the sound that has launched one of the Midwest’s most in-demand acoustic acts.”
