Carnage the Executioner (Legal Name: Terrell Woods) has spent an impressive 30-years mastering his impact on the world. Whether he is rapping, composing, performing, instructing, or being involved as a youth counselor—there is zero question that this man was born to do three things: Instruct, Motivate & Entertain. Creating music—providing captivating one-man-band performances—touring the world— and educating people of all ages & socioeconomic backgrounds, Carnage’s minimal-rest work ethic proves to impress time & time again. Despite his dedication to the community (including playing nearly 200 live shows a year), Carnage still finds time to teach private lessons, independently book his national tours & be a devoted father.
Hannah Lou Woods is an award-winning indie singer-songwriter who writes straight from the heart. Fusing her signature messages of self-healing and universal love with soulful vocals and intricate piano and guitar arrangements, Hannah’s music bears witness to the full spectrum and experience of being human. As a traveling soul on a journey of self-discovery through music, Woods explores deeper truths through her songwriting, expressing the courage and resilience it takes to continually face our fears and be who we truly are. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Hannah has shared the stage with many well-respected artists including Emily Elbert and Adrianne Lenker, and has opened for other talented artists such as Couer De Pirate, Jen Chapin, and Raining Jane. Originally hailing from a small town in Minnesota, Hannah has received numerous awards for her songs, including the Great American Song Contest (Winner - Pop Category), John Lennon International Songwriting Contest (finalist) and an Honorable Mention at the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival Songwriter Showcase. In addition, her electro-pop project We Saw Lions has gathered over 4.5 million streams on Spotify.
Mike Munson: Since he would rather be playing guitar than anything else, Mike Munson is grateful for the last ten years he has spent doing just that. With country blues as a guidepost, his sound marks the similarities and highlights the distance between Fred McDowell, Leo Kottke and Chuck Berry.
Presented by Minnesota Music Coalition, Rochester Civic Music, Explore Minnesota, and Minnesota Public Radio's The Current.
