Tri Government Collaborative Meeting 

City of Rochester 

Olmsted County 

Rochester Public Schools, host 

Thursday, May 12, 5:30-7:00 p.m.  

Room 137, Edison Building (615 7th Street SW, 55902)

The location of the meeting will be in the school board room at the Edison Administration Building. Park in the lot and use door #10.

AGENDA: 

  1. Welcome: RPS Board member Jean Marvin 

 

  1. Brief review of work done in previous meetings: Purpose, group norms, priorities and concerns of each group and areas of potential collaboration. 

 

  1. Discussion of focus and scope of this group going forward: 

 

  • Does this group have the will and bandwidth to take on a “new” collaborative initiative? 

 

  • Should there be one overarching issue/theme (focus) for the year? 

  • Or, should the hosting body determine the issue(s) to be considered for that meeting? 

 

  • Should each organization’s strategic priorities drive the timing of the issue being considered? 

 

  • What criteria should be used to determine what the focus issue(s) will be? 

  • How will information from these sessions be shared with others in our organizations? 

 

  1. What’s the agenda for the August meeting with all members? 

 

  1. Adjourn
