The free, Wednesday evening FORWARD Park Concerts highlight local bands and regional headliners. 

Concerts are held in six different walkable, pet friendly, and bike trail connected parks - one in each City ward.

Come for local food trucks, plus family-friendly fun with Rochester Public Library's Bookmobile, and interactive games with Rochester Parks & Rec’s Go! Play! Explore! Mobile Rec Trailer!

forWARD: Annie Mack w/ Soul Train

Annie Mack - “After a bunch of years laboring away in the local blues scene, Annie began to branch out and broaden her sound. She was at the convergence of talent, experience and an R&B/neo-soul resurgence. She’s a talented woman who is finally getting her due. Mack is the classic diva. She shifts effortlessly from a Mavis Staples gospel to MoTown soul to a Koko Taylor growl. Her four piece band is rock solid and is the frame for the lady in the middle. It’s old school. Soul Train - LaSonya Natividad is a Rochester Minnesota based vocal artist hailing from the great state of Louisiana. Her unique sound is a blend of southern gospel with jazz influences. She has a vocal range from mezzo soprano to contralto. Some of her vocal influences include the first lady of song Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, India Arie, Jill Scott and Mahalia Jackson.
