Smart Salting for Property Management

  • Introduction: This training will help property managers learn how to save money and protect water resources using less salt and maintain safe paved areas.

This free online training course teaches about best practices for managing snow and ice on paved surfaces. Attendees will learn how to save money and protect water resources using less salt and still maintain safe paved surfaces. The tons of salt used every year to manage snow and ice damages infrastructure and vegetation and pollutes our lakes, streams, and groundwater. All attendees can attain a Smart Salting Certification that is valid for 3 years.
