Rochester City Council

Welcome to the Rochester City Council

The City Council is comprised of 7 elected officials who govern the issues related to the City of Rochester. The Council President is elected by all citizens in the City of Rochester. The six Council members are elected by the citizens of each ward that they represent.

Regular Council Meetings

Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00pm in the Council/Board Chambers at City Hall.

The meetings can be viewed on Government Access - Channel 19.

Commitee of the Whole

Usually held each Monday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. at City Hall in room 104.  Please check the agenda to be sure.
