What is a COW (Committee of the Whole) meeting?
A COW (Committee of the Whole) meeting is an informal meeting of the Council held on Monday afternoons, usually each week, in Room 104 of the City Hall. Although the times can vary, the meetings are usually held at 3:30 PM.
The Council will discuss topics more in depth and ask questions of staff and citizens alike. No official business is done at these meetings but rather to gather information so that they may make a more educated decision at the official council meeting.
